Dr. Osama Zaki is an AI visionary, keen to build reliable, hybrid and scalable AI systems, and to maintain AI pipelines, tools and frameworks. During his professional career, he came up with many innovative concepts that made great success for various projects. His main interest is in the two domains of AI: NLP/LLM and Robotics.

He was either a lead or a main player for several international projects, either with AI themes or which have some elements of AI for companies such as: IBM, Microsoft, Logica, and several EU projects. Since July 22, as an independent consultant, he developed complete teaching and research programmes for two universities. He also taught and researched in academia.

With the support of the City of Edinburgh Council in 2006, he founded the Arabic Academy in Edinburgh (Scotland) to provide schools, groups and individuals with the Arabic Language. He also designed and developed the Arabic Language Ontology for teaching and research purposes.

His background includes bachelor degrees in Engineering, Management and Law, higher diplomas in Computer Sciences and Education, master degrees in AI and a PhD degree in Engineering and AI.
